BNE's proposed amendments to the Digital Networks Act

We set out proposed amendments to the Digital Networks Act (DNA), relative to Commission proposal 2026/0013 (COD). Our amendments pursue three goals: transparent and democratically accountable governance of radio spectrum that preserves the European Parliament’s role in strategic spectrum decisions; recognition of terrestrial broadcasting networks, including 5G Broadcast, as an essential pillar of Europe’s resilience and public-warning ecosystem; and safeguarding citizens’ universal access to free-to-air radio and television, including in new vehicles.
